He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Bray and Ella Mae Davison Phillips; his siblings, Harold Bray and Aline Smith; and his pets, BamBam, Princess, King, Bullet, Jenny and Rosie.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Virginia Landrum Bray; his children, Steven Jay Bray and Julia Dianne Bray Hawk; his granddaughters, Hollie Dawn Teter and Heather Denay Hawk; his nephew Charles Smith; and his niece Doris Smith.
