It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ima Jean Cowan (Midwest City, Oklahoma), who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Henry Hawkins and Vera Redding Hawkins; her siblings, Virginia Eileen Williams and Guy Seaborn Hawkins; her daughter Dena Jean Mallow Moutray; and her husband Le Vern E. Cowan.
She is survived by: her former husband Ronald Dean Mallow, Sr.; her children, Diana Lynn Mallow DeSpain (Glen) and Ronald Dean Mallow, Jr. (Later); her grandchildren, Chris Mallow (Heidi), Amber DeSpain Lambrecht (Sheldon), Misty Mallow Freeman (Dusty), Chad DeSpain (Lisa) and Jeremy DeSpain (Megan); her great grandchildren, Katherine Mallow (Bella), Bailey Lambrecht Litterell (Connor), Connor Mallow (Natalie), Meagan Lambrecht, Donovan Webster, Charlie Malone, Owen Mallow, Julianna Mallow, Case DeSpain, Jacob DeSpain, Cori DeSpain, Coda DeSpain and Brady Freeman; her great great grandchildren, Harper Rae Litterell, Kollins Marie Litterell and Charlotte Diane Mallow; and her niece Gwen McPherson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Cancer Society, in Jean's honor.
