She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin E. Lane Jr.; her daughter Arretta Jennings; her parents, Earnest Williams and Fannie Williams; and her siblings, Elizabeth and Earnest Williams Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Karen, Marvin III (Sonny), Phyllis, Janet, Linda and Wendy.
