He was predeceased by: his spouse Lola C. Lane. He is survived by: his parents, Lane Howell and Clara May Howell; his children, Carlton R. Lane and Paula J. White; his grandchild Clyde Lane of Sarah White; and his sister Thelma Zane of Eyvonne Niedermaier. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Emory's honor to the Shriners Hospital, the Masonic Lodge or the Eastern Star Chapter.
