She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Robert Lee Shepard (Bob); her husband Harold Sanders; her stepchildren, Rebecca McDonell (Becky) and Michael Shepard (Mike); her daughter Becky (Bob McDonell); her grandchildren, Bobby, Sam, Mike, Phyllis Shepard, Melissa and Callie; her great grandchildren, Melissa and Patrick; her daughters, Callie (Matt Honious), Ellie and Peggy Maginnis (Peggy); her sons-in-law, John Maginnis and Bob McDonell; and also, Collin, Will and Vinnie.
She later attended Hill's Business College and by the time she retired was Vice President in charge of investments at National Foundation Life Insurance Company.
