He was predeceased by: his fathers, David Edward Carter and Raymond P. Jackson; his brother Danny Carter; and his daughter Roxanna Jorgensen. He is survived by: his wife B. J. Carter; his sons, Danny Carter (Lynette), Charlie Carter (Tammy), Tim Ware (Lisa) and Buddy Ware (Vicki); and his sisters, Patti Sue Wilson and Linda Gail Walters (Howard). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and adored and spoiled 27 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
