“I was a young 20-year old police officer at the village when i met and worked with don meinecke. I joined the masonic lodge where don was a member a year before me, and he helped me with my masonic work at the lodge. Retired chief jerry eaton and i visited him a few years ago at his home. Don was a great person and a good police officer during his time at the village. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and my prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.
