He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis McDown and Mamie McDown; and his siblings, Jaunita Johns and Verlon McDown. He is survived by: his wife Nadine Cook; and his children, Weldon McDown, Donna McDown, Becky McDown and Joyce McDown. He is also survived by brother-in-law and his wife, and several nieces and nephews.
