He was predeceased by: his father Sammie Wood; and his in-laws, Larry and Peggy Nixon. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Wood (Cosby); his wife Suzy Nixon; his children, Amber Brooke (Brannon) and Tyler (Kyli); his grandchildren, Collin, Reese, Remi and River; his brother Ricky Wood (Vanissia); and his brothers-in-law, Dan (Jana) and Mickey (LaVonna). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich Funeral Home (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Choctaw Road Baptist Church (14971 E Reno Ave, Choctaw, OK 73020). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the McGee Cemetery.
