We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2021, at the age of 86, Dana Aubrey Whitfield Jr. (Midwest City, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dana A. Whitfield, Sr. and Josie Whitfield (Thompson); his former wife Vashti Duke (Ty); and his sister Vivian Adkins. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Naomi Gilgert; his wife Naomi Whitfield of Midwest City, OK; his daughter Juli; his son-in-law Alex Aaron of Midwest City, OK; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Alma Whitfield of Chesterfield, Virginia; his son Jay; his daughter-in-law Melissa Whitfield of Roanoke, TX; his son Jon; his daughter-in-law Lisa Whitfield of Fort Worth, TX; and his siblings, Bettye Davis, Sue McDowell (Gary), Nola Andrews, Toni Newell (Charles), Lynn Cooper (Hugh) and Ted Whitfield (Michelle). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
