With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Helm of Midwest City, Oklahoma, born in Oxford, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Charles left this world on December 21, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Helm and Bertie Helm; his siblings, James (Margie Helm), Terrence (Millie Helm), Christine (Fred Wayland) and Pearl (Bill Taylor); his former wife Edna Scott; his son Kirk Helm; and his granddaughter Rachael Michelle Osborn.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Helm; his children, Sherry Helm, Steve Garnett, Kim, Josh Burdette, Jenny and Chris Dow; his great grandchildren, Eric Scott Osborne (Erica), Sarah Cole, Nathan, Caleb, Trey, Rhett, Silas, Maddox, Cole, Kyler, Samantha, Elissa, Ashlyn, Easton, Shawn, Tanner, Jacob, Jaxon and Melody; and his great-nephew John Z Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Talking Hands Club in memory of Chuck. Keep Charles "Chuck"'s legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
