He was predeceased by: his parents, Philander Sims and Marie Sims (Wartchow); his wife Rebecca Sims; and his son Larry Sims. He is survived by: his daughter Jayna Sims; his grandson Frankie Perry; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Alexander Perry; and his brother Joe Sims. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
