He was predeceased by: his parents, Almous Steele and Myrtle Steele; his siblings, Earl Steele and Moela Williams of Odelle King; and his grandson Adam Steele.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, Ricky Benton (Debbie) of Antlers Ok and Kelly Benton of Midwest City. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
