He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Barnes and Alpha Barnes; his daughter Angela Forbes; and his siblings, Ernest Barnes, Myron Barnes, Harley Barnes Jr., Betty Lewis and Doris Smith.
He is survived by: his son Bill; his wife Pearl Barnes; his children, Sandi (David Smyth) and Chris Barnes; and his siblings, Bennaz Hawkins, Harvey Barnes, Pat Waters and Marie Caro. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
