She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Jacob Howell and Celeta Howell (Knight); and her brother Cecil Howell. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Bruce (Bill) and Jim McWhirter (Lisa); her brother Thomas Howell (Judy); her grandchildren, Deena Warner (John), Cory Bruce (Amy), Brandon Hughes (Leslie), Tara McWhirter, Marci Simmons and Scott McWhirter (Allyson); her great grandchildren, Sheena Egender, Kelsee Roberson (Mitchell), Camden Bruce, Ethan Hughes, Paden Hughes, Rylee Simmons and Raigan Simmons; and her great great grandchildren, Caelyn Jeane Sumpter and Carter Leigh Reed.
