Allen Henry Obituary

Allen Earl Henry was born on November 29th, 1957 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Oreda and Joe Henry. He passed away on December 16th, 2021 at home due to lung cancer.
Allen graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1976 and the West Virgina Institute of Technology in 1980, receiving degrees in Land Surveying and Engineering.
A couple of years later, he followed his family to Oklahoma City and began working for Stout Surveying Company in Moore, where he met his future wife Sharon Juanell Stout. They were married on May 14, 1983.
Allen worked as a land surveyor for 41 years and ran his own land surveying company for the past 23 years after buying out the company he worked for in the 90's. Allen was very involved in Boy Scouts and served as a scout master for over 10 years and was a little league coach for his sons' teams.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, sons Justin and Cody, his mother Oreda, his sister Reda Jo Marcussen, his granddaughter's Claire and Kate, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Joe Henry.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Barnes & Friederich Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21st.
