He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Douthitt and Ida Mae; his stepfather Bob White; his parents-in-law, Helen and Robert Maley; and his nephew Jay David Young.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ann Heck and Jon Douthitt (Sharon); and his siblings-in-law, Jean and Lyon Speegle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
