He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith (Guynn); his son Brad Smith (Sandra) of Collinsville, OK; and his daughter-in-law Tami Johnson Smith of Plano, TX. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
