We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2021, at the age of 96, Virgil Ray Jinks of Miami, Oklahoma, born in Edna, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ray and Ladenna Jinks (Bowman); his siblings, Herman, Franklin Jinks and Audrey Henry; and his daughter-in-law Valerie Jinks.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Kathleen McKinzie; his children, James "Jim" Jinks (Sonnie) of Miami, Sue Allen (Jerry) of Carthage, MO, Mary Rexwinkle (Jerry) of Cleora, David Jinks (Pamela) of Stillwater and Jeffrey Jinks of Diamond, MO; his siblings, Eugene Jinks of Vinita and Maxine Shope of Bentonville, AR; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Mulvaney, Donna Lair, Marietta Jinks and Wannah Lee Jinks. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; and seventeen nieces and nephews.
