He was predeceased by: his former wife Leah Strasner; his parents, Lenton David Batie and Edith Gunter Batie; and his brother Leonard Douglas Batie. He is survived by: his children, Brian, Nolen and Tara; and his siblings, Pamela Kathleen Hagman of Hugoton, KS, Peggy Ann Boothby of Hugoton, KS, Joe Allen (Kathy Batie), Linda Sue (Carl Burnett), David Wendell (Ginny Batie), Debbie Gay (Cliff Crawford) and Lila Jane (Junior Cerecero). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
