He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Doris Smith (Trammell); his stepdaughter Janet Kelly; and his siblings, Marvin McCallough, James "Junior" Smith, John Smith and Martha Livesay.
He is survived by: his daughter Sydnee Violette of Miami, OK; his stepchildren, Jeremy Kelly of Grape Creek, TX, Angela Kelly of Miami, OK, Julie Kelley of Pryor, OK and Amy Kelly of Afton, OK; his siblings, Dana Smith of Hutchison, KS, Bill Smith of Cudahy, WI, Wayne Smith of Quapaw, OK, Larry Smith of Commerce, OK, Jerry "Bo" Smith of Quapaw, OK, Gail Gorszczyk of McPhearson, KS and Ruth Renfro of Seneca, MO; his granddaughter Angie Gamill; and his close friend Joe Arnold. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and several step- great grandchildren.
