She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Shinault and Velma Rhea Shinault (Pryor); her husband Darrel Simmons; her children, Scott Simmons (Jackie) of Columbus, Kelli Kerby (Rick) of Miami, Michael Simmons (Elizabeth) of Greenville and Kim Logsdon of Muskogee; her grandchildren, Matthew Simmons, Julia Kerby, Sarah Bryant (Andrew), Audrey Stansell (Ian), Seth Simmons (Beth), Shyanne VanGilder (Jerrod), Luke Logsdon (Brooklyn), Paige Logsdon, Levi Logsdon (Emily), Madilyn, Evan, Addilynn, Isabella, Lincoln, Samuel, Rayen, Morgan, Lennon, Liam, Karson, Emerson, Ian Stansell, Andrew Bryant and Jerrod VanGilder; and also, Charles, Velma Shinault and Ronald Shinault.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund.
