He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Robinson and Imogene Robinson; his brother-in-law Dr. Mitchell Willens; and his niece Whitley Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Terry Robinson of Grove, OK; his son Dr. Erick Robinson; his daughter-in-law Jessica Robinson; his granddaughter Amelia Robinson of Boise, ID.; his siblings, Linda Barr (Tom) of Tulsa, OK, Claudia "Corky" Willens of Tyler, TX and Mark Robinson (Kim) of Miami, OK; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Kruithof, Bryan Kruithof, Josh Willens, Zach Willens, Donna Hancock and Shanna Fuller.

“We met Sam about 10 years ago and he soon became one of our favorite people to hang out with. Such good memories of flying, fishing, harvesting wheat, and just hanging out at his shop. Always looked forward to our visits, and feel such a void without him. Praying for Terry and family through these trying times and hope you can take comfort in knowing he lived life to the fullest and was so proud of his family.”
