We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2025, at the age of 73, Sam Wilburn Cook III of Miami, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Wilburn Jr. and Anna Margarette Cook (Hendricks); his wife Ethel Cook; his brother Alvin Cook; and his significant other Ethel King.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Cook, Samantha Cook and Sherrise Starkey; his grandchildren, Levi, Sam Bryson and Casidee; and his brother Harold Melvin Cook.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to American Legion Post #147, PO Box 668, Miami, Oklahoma 74354. Checks can be made payable to American Legion Post #147.
