He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Freda Leona Anderson (Cherry); and his siblings, Raymond Lee Anderson, Teddy Lee Anderson, Carl Russell Anderson, Billy Ray Anderson, Gordon Eugene Anderson, Ronald Dean Anderson, Betty Jane Phelps, Anna Lou Glover, Barbara Sue Collins, Rosa Lee Dyer and Freda JoAnn Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Anderson; his children, Brian Anderson (Vickie) of League City, TX, Keith Anderson of Franklin, TN, Jason Anderson (Stephanie) of Miami, OK, Robert Thomas of Attica, KS, Stefani Hacker of Oklahoma City, OK and Pam Cozort of Afton, OK; his sister Catherine Marie Brock of Joplin, MO; his grandchildren, Lauren Murphrey, Skyler Anderson, Crozlë Anderson and Jaxon Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Nash Murphrey and Behr Murphrey. He is also survived by many step children and foster children.
