He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Pitman and Mary Pitman (Abbiatti); his wife Dorothy Pitman; his son-in-law Tom Kirksey; and his brothers, Lester Frank Pitman and Billy Ray Pitman.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Pitman (Gayle) of Branson, MO, Tim Pitman (Ginger) of Miami, OK, Robin Kirksey of Miami, OK, Shelly Robertson (Rick) of Quapaw, OK, Marcie Contreras (Martin) of Joplin, MO and Kandy Pitman of Miami, OK. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
