He is survived by: his wife Opal Stephens (Barnes); his sons, Kevin Stephens (Sharon), Larry Stephens (Cara) and Steve Betts (Jeanette); and his grandchildren, April Fallis, Kevin Bland Jr., Mathew Bland, Starla Martin and Valarie Blunk.
