It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Letha Marie Mercer of Miami, Oklahoma, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Sides and Shirley Sides (Wright). She is survived by: her husband Larry Mercer; her sons, Joey Baker of Pensacola, FL, Frank Baker of Montgomery, AL, Ted Baker (Mary-Kathryn) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Brian Mercer (Amanda) of South Carolina and Darrin Mercer (Chelsea) of Bennington, NE; her siblings, Francis Marion Sides of Birmingham, AL, Jim Sides and Emily Bonds Davey (Stan) of Birmingham, AL; her niece Anne Marie Bonds; and her nephew Miller Bonds (Brannan). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to First United Methodist Church, Miami, Oklahoma.
