She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie "Bill" Melton and Clara Melton (Holt); her husband Bill F. Althouse; and her siblings, Jerry Wayne Melton and Billie Carlene Gifford.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Paul Gifford of Tulsa, OK; and her cousins, Jason Miller of Miami, OK, Kembi Miller of Miami, OK, Kelli Kinzer of Carthage, MO and Lori Marble of Neosho, MO..
