It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Dale Garber (Miami, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Garber and Celia Garber (Ford); the mother of his children Carolyn Sue Garber; and his great grandchild Jonas Morgan. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Alan Garber (Sandra) of Wyandotte, Jeffrey Scott Garber (Kellie) of Fairland and Dedra Ann Woods (Lane) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Stephanie Baker, Steven Rhodes, Brandi Morgan (Jeff), Brandon Hale, Brenton Hale (Rachel), Trey Lofgren, Tori Chenoweth (Eli), CasSondra Berryman (Curtis), Megan Tusia (Ryan), Jeremy B. Johnson and Austin Woods; his great grandchildren, Saphire Rhodes, Rowen Rhodes, Victoria Jemize, Joseph Jemize, Ziala Baker, Maison Rentfrow (Madison), CamiLynn Berryman, ClaireAnn Berryman, Cooper Berryman, Juniper Tusia, Griffin Tusia, Eloise Tusia, Amaya Kerns, Hadlee Hale, Henleigh Hale, Aubrey Morgan and Garrett Morgan; his great great grandchild Scottie Ferris; and his sister Betty Newman.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service (5 B St NW, Miami, OK 74354). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 2801 N Main St, Miami, OK 74354.
