She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Countryman and Lucille Countryman (Walker); her husband Richard McCarty; her son Richard L. McCarty; her brother Hugh Floyd Countryman; and her great grandchild Alexander Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Houston McCarty (Lisa) of Miami and Earlene Meyers of Miami; her daughter-in-law Jane McCarty of Miami; her sister Joyce Tanner of Chouteau, Oklahoma.; and her close friend Bunny. She is also survived by several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
