He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Johnson and Dimple Johnson; his grandmother Etta Nixon; his aunt Faye; his uncle Jerry Feezell; and his siblings, Betty June, Irene, Jewel Boggs, Colleen Daugherty and Johnny.
He is survived by: his spouse Mickey Laramore; his sons, Jim Johnson (Tina) and Jerry Johnson (Michelle); his grandchildren, Amanda Johnson of Oklahoma City, Breanne Johnson of Fairland, Jay Johnson of Oklahoma City and Jared Johnson (Caleigh) of Jacksonville; and his sister Fae Moreland of Neosho.
