With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Max Martin of Miami, Oklahoma, born in Picher, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Howard Max is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Howard Max's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Martin and Ida Martin (Burt); his wife Diane Martin; his son Brian Martin; and his siblings, Leroy Martin and Dixie Lee Martin.

He is survived by : his children, Gregg Martin of Quapaw, OK and Kim Johnson (Jimmy) of Miami, OK. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Miami (1432 B St NW, Miami, OK 74354). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the G. A. R. Cemetery (2801 N Main St, Miami, OK 74354).
