She was predeceased by: her parents, George Staton and Ethel Staton (Edwards); her husband Clarence Ray Mathis; her daughter Sherie Kay Burrell; and her sisters, Mabel Day, Thelma "Jackie" Sayers, Mary Eulitt and Juanita Brotherton.
She is survived by: her sons, Clarence Mathis, Jr. (Judy) of Hollywood, FL, George C. Mathis of Jay, OK and Daniel Joel Mathis of Broken Arrow, OK. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
