She was predeceased by: her parents, Affie Joles and Franchion Joles (Robinson); her husband Freddie Brooks; and her siblings, Marvin Joles and Donna Casey.
She is survived by: her children, Affie Brooks (Caroline) of Wisconsin, Fred Brooks (Sherry) of Wisconsin, Christina Brooks (Gerry Ebert), Barbara Sawyer (Jay) of North Dakota and Deanna Brooks of Texas; her sister Deanna Casey of Texas; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Hannah, Fred Jr., Jared, Dalton, Slade, Amber Lythjohan, Rachel Wells, Haley Pearce, Heather Pearce, Makayla Curry and Reba Erdman. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
