He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Vanpool and Fern Vanpool; his wife Cynthia Paula Phillips; his son Miami; his sister Kathryn Sue Vanpool; his grandson Nathan William Vanpool; his children, George Karger Vanpool (Becca Langley), Grace Kathleen Vanpool, Wesley Karger Vanpool, Elizabeth Klaire Vanpool, Lily Kate Vanpool and William Davies (Julie Vanpool); his grandsons, Grant Davies (Sydney Vanpool) and Trevor James Vanpool; his children, Zachary Daniel Vanpool and Peyton Darrell Vanpool; and his siblings, Mary Fern Souder (Wallie), Virginia Knapp (James) and John Vanpool.
