Gering of Miami, Oklahoma, born in Grove, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin "Pete" Gering and Louise Gering (Wickett); his wife Fern Gering; and his siblings, Henry "Hank" Gering, Richard "Richie" Gering, Lucy Anne Riley, Hilda Barkdoll and Sue Beth Brasher.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy Gering, Sr. and Hedy Womack. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
