He is survived by: his wife Lucille Henson; his son Donnie Spring of Middlesbury, VA; his stepchildren, Darriel, Dale, Sheila, Daniel, Douglas and Deland; and his siblings, Jane Williams, Thomas Spring and David Spring. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and 10 nieces and nephews.
