He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Patterson and Vernice Patterson; and his sisters, Kathy Jackson (Don) of Grove, Donna Mills of Miami and Debbie King (Ralph) of Edmond. He was also cherished by six nieces and nephews, twelve great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew.
