She was predeceased by: her mother Myirl Jeaneene Landers Payton (Davis); and her grandparents, Melvin Clint Davis, Elsie Faye Davis (Holloway), Bert Henry Landers and Marion Lucille Landers Owen (Cook).

She is survived by: her father Larry Edward Landers (Linda) of Bossier City, Louisiana; her husband David William Roten of Independence, Kansas; her children, Ethan Pierce Roten of Independence, Kansas and Ashlyn Lace Roten of Miami, Oklahoma; her stepfather Charles Payton of Miami, Oklahoma; her mother-in-law Lynda Roten (Newberry); and her siblings, Troy Merit of Seminole, Oklahoma, Debbie Gibson (Kent) of Delaware, Oklahoma, Lori Rahhal (Tony) of Norman, Oklahoma and Kristi Mucci (Ron) of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
