He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hartford and Edith Gertrude Tunnell (Taylor); his wife Virldeen Tunnell; and his siblings, Leonard Tunnell, Gene Tunnell and Mavis Stafford.
He is survived by: his children, Byron D. Tunnell, Jr. (Vicki) of Broken Arrow, OK, Edythe Louise Burton (Dennis) of Seminole, OK and Rebecca Sue Crane. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 step granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
