He was predeceased by: his wife Nickey; his granddaughter Rachel Wright; his brother Ed "Scurv" Bigheart; his parents, Juanita Rutherford and Ed Bigheart; and his grandparents, Edward Bigheart, Cecelia Rattlingourd, William Rutherford and Ara Lawson.
He is survived by: his sister Janie Larson; his children, Janis Powell (Billy), Nickey Jo Carriger (Hugh), Jim Pogue, Amanda Smelser (Loren), Juanita Bigheart, Rebecca Wright (Tracy) and Kelly Eisenberger; and his grandchildren, Jared (Candy), Chase (Ana), Brian (Kim), Brad (Lauren), Tori (Brett), Chelsea, Eric, Andrew, Sara and JT. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Those who desire to pay their respects must follow COVID guidelines by wearing a mask and using social distance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made at Peoples bank of Seneca, MO, to the Rachel Wright Agricultural Science Memorial Scholarship, or that individuals make a donation, in his honor, to their local domestic violence shelter.
