Abby Lyn Hughes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abby Lyn Hughes of Miami, Oklahoma, born in Anthony, Kansas, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Hughes; her grandmother Wilma Jones; her aunts, Frances Jones and Dorothy Smith; and her uncle Bob Hughes.

She is survived by: her mother Betty Hughes (Jones) of Anthony, KS; her son Mathieu Nirschl of Claremore, OK; her sister Lori Wilcox (Joe) of Anthony, KS.; her nieces and nephews, Kasey Hunter (Matt), Justin Wilcox (Megan) and Clay Wilcox (Ashlan); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew, Alec, Addison, Jadon, Miley, Beckett, Jr. and Jada; her stepmother Raydene Hughes; and her stepsiblings, Mike, Gary LaCore and Diana Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Abby's name to the Miami Animal Alliance or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
