We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2024, at the age of 97, Johnie Evertt Wilson of Meridian, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Johnie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Johnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Wilson and Mabel Mae Wilson (Larimer). He is survived by: his former wife Betty Jean Fleetwood; his daughters, Johnetta and Rebecca; his wife Jennie Smith Johnston; and his daughters, Pam (Tim Cargill) of Meridian, Becki (Donnie Davis), Teresa (Ed Wood) and Amy (Trey Cornwell) of Guthrie, Oklahoma..
