It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hubbell of Meeker, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, V. R. Armitage and Annie Armitage (Trent); her husband Delbert Lowell Hubbell; her siblings, Lee Armitage and Ruth Shingleton; her son-in-law Eddie Fowler; and her nephews, Eldon Shingleton and Mike Armitage.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Cullison (Randy) of Shawnee, Karen Fowler of Meeker and Betty Wright (Garey) of Meeker; her grandchildren, Melissa Capps (Aaron), Darin Fowler, Melanie Young (Matt) and Heather Kaplan (Matt); her great grandchildren, Scout Capps, Cole Capps, Cade Capps, Clayton Fowler, Rylee Young, Daythan Lawson and Katy Kaplan; and her parents-in-law, J. C. Hubbell of Meeker, Sue, Paul Graham and Norma Hubbell of Wichita, OK. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Meeker First Christian Church.
