He is survived by: his children, Richard Smith (Carrie), Sharon Gardner, Freddie Smith (Tammy) and Darla Borden (Tracy); his daughter-in-law Lisa Smith; and his sister Carol McQuerry. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
