He is survived by: his wife Martha Fern McWhirt; his daughters, Debra Lynn (Billy Spinks), Sandra Joy (Don Clouse) and Rebekah Ann (Cecil Gibbs); and his sisters, Shirley and Beverly. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
