He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Oscar and Lucy Agnes McDannald Pontius; and his siblings, Marie Richardson and James Pontius. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bently of Medford; his daughter Ann Pontius (Perrett); and his grandchildren, Haley, Christian and Payden of Atlanta, Georgia..
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Patricia to help with her move to Georgia to receive the care she needs and to be closer to her daughter. These donations may be made through Lanman Funeral Home.
