He was predeceased by: his mother Maggie Schmitz; and his brothers, Darrell and Monte. He is survived by: his father Lloyd Schmitz; his wife Janice Rider; his children, Brenda Turner, Brent and Susan Schmitz; his grandchildren, Logan, Mason Turner, Bradley, Megan and Rachel Schmitz; and his great grandchildren, Wesson Schmitz, Kimber Schmitz and Karter Daniels.
