Eddie Frank Wood Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eddie Frank Wood of Mead, Oklahoma, born in Waurika, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wood and Ruth Wood (Williamson); his grandchildren, Kendall Kyle Brown and Clare Emily Wood; and his nephew Jay Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jones (Babs); his children, Raymond Floyd (Chip), Chip (Sammie) of Pasamonte Ranch and Lisa Brown (Rick) of Mead, OK; his brother James (Jackie Wood) of Las Cruces, NM; his nephew Justin Wood of Albuquerque, NM.; his grandchildren, Gus (Megan) of Grenville, NM, Sally Rastogi of Coppell, TX, Bandi Mahaffey (Todd) of Lexington, KY and Danica Higgins (Cory) of Garvin, OK.; and his great grandchildren, Arav Rastogi, Bryce Wood, Cooper Higgins, Kendall Higgins and Abigail Mahaffey.
While he was in rehab, no family members were allowed in to see the residents due to this 2020 Covid nightmare that we are all living in but, he still "caught the Covid" as his 5 year old great grandson Cooper said.
